Are the graduate programs offered
in English?
Currently, only the Global MBA
program and the Master's of Educational Technology
offered jointly with the University of British
Columbia are available in English. The rest of the graduate programs
are offered in Spanish.
Are students from outside Mexico
accepted into the online graduate programs at the Tecnológico de
Monterrey?
Yes, we accept students from countries other than Mexico. Please review
the admissions requirements for students from outside of Mexico.

How are online classes held?
Classes are offered utilizing various technological platforms, all 100%
accessible by Internet. All of your communication with your professors
will be conducted via these platforms.
Will there be exams in my online
classes?
Yes, all of the courses have exams designed to evaluate what you have
learned. You will be required to go to one of the campuses or mini-campus
sites of the Tecnológico de Monterrey
in order to take final exams for all courses.
Is an online graduate degree
a valid degree?
The online graduate degrees are offered by the Tecnológico
de Monterrey, an institution which is officially recognized by
the regulatory body of the Secretary of Public Education in Mexico. In
addition, the Tecnológico de Monterrey

What are the entrance requirements
for the online graduate programs at the Tecnológico de Monterrey?
You must fulfill certain academic and administrative requirements prior

Are scholarships available?
The Universidad Virtual offers scholarships
of 10-20% to qualified students interested in earning their graduate degree
online.

How long does it take to complete
an online graduate degree?
The time it takes to complete a graduate degree depends upon the number
of courses you take each academic period.
In a trimester or semester-based master's program, if you take two courses
per period and one in each summer session you can complete the program
in 2.5 years.
In the doctoral program, if you take two courses per period and one in
each summer session you can complete the program in 3.5 years
Do I have to take an entrance exam in order to be accepted
into a graduate program?
Yes, you must take the Graduate Studies Admissions Exam in order to be
accepted into a graduate program at the Tecnológico
de Monterrey.
What level of education do
the professors who teach in the graduate programs have?
Ninety-nine percent of graduate level courses are taught by professors
with doctorate degrees or two master's degrees.
Are online graduate degrees accepted in the
business world?
Yes. In fact, several leading executives have recognized
that students who graduate from online graduate programs often bring more
useful and advanced skills to the workplace than students who graduate
from traditional graduate programs.
